Not Long Now



As you many remember from a previous post I mentioned how much a holiday would be nice and that I really wanted to take the children to my all time favourite holiday camp, Berwick Holiday Centre.  Well in 18 days we are off there for one whole week. I can't wait.






I have to admit, as I write this I could burst I am the excited. James said I am worse than the kids, he is right.  Berwick Holiday Centre was my holiday haunt when I was younger.  We started going there to my Aunt's caravan when I was 7 up until I was 16, usually twice a year.  The last time I was at the holiday park was a good 11 years ago.  I have missed my holidays there and always said when I had children I would take them there.



There is so much to do on the site, an indoor and outdoor pool, beach access at either side of the park, one of the beaches has a swing park above it, swing parks on the site, loads of entertainment, shops and places to eat PLUS it is only a 10 minute walk from the town centre so you are not stuck on the park.

Again, there are many places to visit in the town, the town hall, the Barracks, the walk around the town walls, walks by the river Tweed and even old castle ruins too.  Every Saturday and Wednesday there is a market in the town which I love to visit for a good bargain.

I could go on all day about Berwick and what you can do there but I wont keep you for much longer!!

    The las time I went to Haven was about 8 years ago in Wales. We had a great time, there was so much to do.

    We use Haven every year as we can take the dogs too. We went to Perran Sands in Cornwall in April are back at Tenby in September. We are looking at Berwick for next year so will be interested to read about your holiday.

    You know I haven't been to Haven for a few years but have fond memories of Seashore and so it was our first destination on a family holiday
