When Everyone Shines Including You

There has been many a time I have only been too happy to stay out of the spotlight and stay in the shadows. This is mainly down to my health condition and over time I forgot how to be me.  I was never one to shy away from conversation or to get my point heard but over the last year or two I have been a bit more careful about how I act and what I talk about.

I have recently read a fantastic book by Kelly Martin called "When Everyone Shines Including You" and after reading it I feel much more confident about being the old me.  Why should I hide in the shadows. We are all different and we all have something to contribute.

This is the second book in "The Shine Series" and I had previously read and reviewed the book (review can be found here) and this book follows on perfectly and teaches you how to be more confident and happier.

What I love most about this book is how it is written and the chapters are broken down in manageable chunks that get the point across in such a precise but beautiful way.  It is not one of those self help books that is written in a way that makes you feel that you are being spoken down to. It makes sense and you will find yourself thinking "this is so true. I can do this"

The book covers so many different life events and how to deal with them in a positive manner.  My favourite chapter was "say goodbye to the old ways" I finally feel that I can leave some of my little habits behind (the bad ones of course) and it feels good to let go of that baggage so to speak.

I can't recommend this book enough. It will really benefit so many people, even if you don't feel like you need help, it really will help change your outlook on life.

You can find out more about Kelly Martin and The Shine Series here
To purchase the book head over to Amazon. Priced at £4.99 for the Kindle version and £10.99 for the paperback. Well worth the money!!

    1. I admit that I look at the chapters of a book before I buy it and if they don't catch my attention, I dont buy the book x
