When I was younger, I would spend many happy hour with my colouring book, pens, pencils and blank paper, colouring and creating new drawings. Time would go so fast and I always remember how calm it made me feel, even though I wasn't stressed at the time.
Now, as a 36 year old, I found I was waiting for the kids to go to bed so I could pinch their colouring book just so I could colour one picture in and in the morning would say the "colouring fairy" must have done it. Some people may wonder why they have created these sheets. Well it is simple, using your mind in a creative way, not only is it fun but the big reason behind is, it reduces stress. I have sat down with my pencils and colouring sheet mid panic attack and it was amazing how focusing on the task in front of me helped calm down the attack and I felt relaxed and happy.
Looking at the picture you just created boosts your mood, it shows you have accomplished something, the smallest task when feeling anxious or down can really help boost your confidence.
