TikTok and YouTube Faves

When I first came across TikTok during the pandemic, how has that been 5 years, I wasn't really sure if I liked it. I mainly watched animal videos as they were just the cutest and I certainly never posted anything myself. It was only in the last 2 year that I became more involved with TikTok and I am really glad I did because I found some amazing accounts from awesome people I could relate to. YouTube has always been my go to for videos on everything that I like and I still love that platform as its connected me with a great community too. Here are some of my fave peeps on the apps.

Official Retro Dad

If you love all things 70s, 80s and 90s then Official Retro Dad is the account for you. Every Tuesday and Thursday at 9pm he hosts fantastic lives filled with music from the best decades. You can also join in on the chaos in the chat. It is always such a good laugh and lots of fun.  You can also find videos of the best songs from each year. How many do you remember? I'm not the best at that game, unless it's the 90s!! To give him a follow, click here or you can follow him on YouTube.

Ally Begg ABTV

As a massive Aberdeen FC fan, this is my go to for all things AFC. With Countdown to kick off, watch along and full-time review live shows along with interviews, there is plenty of content to keep you happy. I love joining the lives to have my say and to see what the other fans think. With Aberdeen, you never know what you're going to get.  They sure like to keep us on our toes! If you would like to join in with the conversation, you can do so here.

The Accidental Pop Star

All music fans should check out this channel on YouTube.  Ally Begg, former member of Bad Boys Inc (I loved them!) in the 90s, interviews popstars both past and present and gives them a safe space to talk about their experiences within the music industry.  I love this channel because it gives us an insight to the so called glamourous music world and opens our eyes to what it really is like.

Teacher Tommy T

This TikTok account is brilliant. Teacher Tommy T posts videos about school life, shown from the teacher and pupil perspective. He plays all the characters and honestly it is so relatable!! Definitely takes me back to my school days. The school secretary is my favourite character, she is just wild.  He also goes live and talks about random things but also gives tips on how to cope with school life.

Pete_BOC

Pete_BOC posts some great football content, alongside some random fun.  He goes live when Liverpool are playing, well he is massive Liverpool fan,  and you can join in on the chat to talk all things football. He also gets extra points for liking Aberdeen!! Oh and he loves to sing too, just a warning (in the nicest way)
