The Next Big Step



The above picture was taken July 2013, the day one of my dreams came true, I met my idol Shane Filan. I love his voice and he is such a genuinely lovely down to earth guy. Yes I was realllyyy nervous meeting him for the first time but it was totally worth the wait. Fast forward to today and here I am sitting writing this post with tears in my eyes, yet again filled with nerves.



I have a ticket to go and see Shane live in Glasgow on March 29th.  Every so often I let out a little squeak and say to the hubby "ahhhhh only *insert days here* to go"  I had to miss his 2014 tour as I was unwell and little did I know that was the start of PMDD.



So why am I crying? I am going to be 100% honest with you, I am scared to let myself get excited about going as I am expecting my symptoms to flare up and stop me from going or that when I am there they will start and it usually means horrible dizzy spells. Strangely having a panic attack whilst I am there doesn't worry me as I know that will pass quickly and is easy to cope with, the adrenaline will have a place to go anyway!!

I was heartbroken when I missed his first solo tour and I really don't want the same to happen this time.  I am looking forward to a night of amazing music from a very talented man and also meeting up with some of the lovely friends I made thanks to Westlife, but knowing I am travelling alone and also sitting by myself is making me really nervous. Yeah I have been to concerts on my own before and it has never ever bothered me but this is the first time in 4 years I have been to one alone and for me this is a massive step for me and I know if I do this I can do anything.

    I hope everything works out and you get to go see him! Just a few more days!! I've never heard of Shane before but thanks for sharing the song, I actually really like his voice.

      I can't believe that has sold out already!! Many thought it was both bands joining together but it's only Brian and Keith.

      Oh I am lol. It was a great day meeting him. I have just made arrangements to meet up with a girl I met through Westlife, going for a bite to eat before the show eekkk exciting x
