As you have probably seen in the news, a plane carrying 150 crashed last week, tragically killing everyone on board. I would like to send my love to those who lost their loved ones on that day. The co-pilot was in control at the time the plane went down. It is truly a tragic accident, yet some newspapers are claiming something unthinkable.

How To Live For Free
We all know that money doesn't got as far as it used too and the little treats you once enjoyed, going out for dinner, nights out and even buying that new wardrobe, don't happen as often if at all. Recently we have started going back to our local butchers as it's much cheaper than the supermarkets and ordering our fruit and veg from a local company who deliver, but what if we could get other little luxuries for free?

Making Lunch Fun
When I took my own lunch into work with me, I always found my sandwiches got soggy for some reason. No matter what I wrapped them in or whatever the filling it always happened. If I wanted to take a proper meal in, like a pasta dish or salad, I had to carry a big Tupperware box which was bulky and, well, annoying really. I always wanted a lunchbox that happened different compartments so my lunch would still be tasty!

Insta Natural
After a long and at times harsh winter, my skin is in need of a major pick me up. I have sensitive skin so it is important for me to find a cream that does not cause a rather red and blotchy reaction. I came across a new brand that I hadn't tried before, until now.
The Black Mass Brides
Have you ever turned down a date with a guy, only to have him torment you in your dreams?
Nothing good ever came of meeting an overly interested, handsome stranger in the woods. Ollie suspects there's more wrong with Zach than his unfortunate choice in first date locations. Ignore the perfect hair, flawless complexion and James Dean smile, and you're left with dead eyes and a bin bag full of body parts.
Plagued by horrible nightmares, strange occurrences and feelings of being watched, Ollie begins to wonder what Zach really is and whether he's working alone. Did she really did escape him that day in the woods, or is this the start of something far worse...

Sophie's Adventure
Today's post is going to be a little different to my usual. I am simply sharing pictures from Sophie's adventure to Palacerigg Country Park.

First Sunny Day
On Saturday we had some really beautiful weather! I honestly couldn't wait to get outside, even for half an hour. We had family visiting too which was nice. The good thing about where we stay is, it has grassy areas and I can sit on the little step and watch the kids run riot. I know it's not going out as in away from the house but it is still outside at the end of the day!

My New Toy
When our vacuum stopped working I went into a panic, having 2 kids who drop crumbs everywhere and no hoover is enough to make anyone cry! We borrowed my mum and dad's cylinder vacuum and they got another one but I wanted one of our own and with limited funds I had to wait. My prayers were answered in a different way.

American Football On My Doorstep
As you have read in previous posts, I am a massive American Football fan. Yes some teams may come over to London once a year but that's not enough for me. Luckily for me there is a team more or less on my doorstep.
Music To My Ears
I love listening to music when I am out and about myself. Over the years I have went through many pairs of earphones. Some stopped working quite quickly and some of them had bad sound quality. Earphones, for me, need to block out the outside world and have good all round sound quality.

Arranging A Charity Event
I love raising money for charity and over the years have taken part in various fundraising activities, performing in a cabaret act in 3 shows, charity quiz night and most recently a coffee morning, which I held in November last year. Many charities have benefited from the money we raised and, as you know from my previous post, I am holding another coffee morning in May.

Busy Times
Sorry I haven't been around much, it has been a crazy few weeks for us. Normally I would have cracked and had a massive panic attack from the stress of it all but I didn't. Now that is major progress.

KC Hampers
I love gifts that just that little bit different to what you find in the shops. Giving someone a gift that they will appreciate and love is high up on my checklist. Over the last couple of years I have had gift baskets made up for the children and a box full of sweet treats for James, but I have come across a company that offer something even better.

Bocadillo Bistro
When I am in Glasgow I like to find new places to go for a bite to eat. It is all too easy to fall into the trap of the fast food restaurants that are on more or less every street. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with them but I prefer a place where I can sit and relax, where the atmosphere is friendly and the food it, well, tasty!
Taking Control of My Future
Over the last few weeks I have been thinking about what I really want to do with my life. When I left school, I went to college and studied Travel and Tourism. As much as I enjoyed the course and working in the industry I couldn't help but think something was missing but I wasn't sure what. A few years ago I found out what that was.

Life As A Chef
When it comes to cooking I have never been the most confident. When I met James and he told me he was a chef I was a little intimidated. Over the last six years he has taught me to cook meals from scratch, everything from Risotto to Steak.
James has worked for award winning chefs, Jeff Bland and Gordon Ramsay. I thought it would be fun to interview James on life as a chef.

Catfish
When I first started using the internet when I was 18, Facebook and Twitter didn't exist, thinking about it the only social media that I can recall were online chatrooms. I did use chatrooms, mainly travel based rooms as I was studying Travel and Tourism at the time, but always refused if someone invited me to have a private chat with them simply because they could be anyone. Fast forward a (good) few years and we have Facebook, Twitter, Bebo (yes it's back), online dating sites and a whole host of other sites. Do you ever wonder if the person you are talking to is really who they say they are?

Sorry.
Hi everyone.
I might not be around for a couple of days as I am not well.
I will be back as soon as possible.
