Angela Update.

Hiya everyone. I thought it was about time I gave you all an update on what has been going on with me and how things are progressing.  It has been a while!

Where will I start? Well I am leaving the house much more than before and have enjoyed a trip to Stirling, breakfast with my mum and dad at a local cafe and even a afternoon out to the local shopping centre for the Teddy Bear's picnic with the kids.

Stirling Castle

I went to Stirling with my mum and sister for a little shopping spree in Primark the a wander around Lush and Sports Direct before heading home again.  This was a major step for me as it is the first time in a year that I have been far from home, even 30 minutes away so this was a major positive for me.

We took the kids to the Teddy Bear Easter Picnic as it would be a fun afternoon out for the little ones.  They adopted teddy bears (money went to charity) painted eggs (which Liam won a prize for) and Sophie's picture was taken for the local newspaper!  Later on we met up with my mum and sister for a nice cold drink at the cafe before heading home after a fun, very warm, day out.

Yesterday I went to the doctor for a routine visit and I met with a locum GP who was fantastic.  She listened when I told her how I was getting on and she said that is was fantastic progress and that it was noted down on my records that progress started when I was diagnosed with severe PMS! Well that is due to being told I was not crazy that in fact I was correct all along and that it is hormone related!  She prescribed me a new pill which should help (yay) and as it's hay fever season and my sinuses have been a bit naughty (so sore) that I should try a steroid nasal spray.  So what should have been a normal catch up turned into the results I have been after for a while now.

One final word, I have managed to lose 27lb since January 26th so my goal weight for going on holiday in June is creeping closer and I am over the moon.

So that is what has been happening with little old me.  I would tell you about the dodgy haircut but I might cry again haha!

  6. I used to suffer from the most horrendous pms and it was like I was 2 people. I'm glad you now know what is causing it and can hopefully gain some relief. Everything sounds positive (other than the haircut). Brilliant news!
