Monsters Love Underpants.

I am always looking for new and funny books to read to my children and ones that my son will want to read himself too (he is in primary one).  Big, bright, colourful covers always catch my attention as they look fun.

Monsters Love Underpants, from bestselling and award-winning duo Claire Freedman and Ben Cort, seemed like a good choice for my own little monsters.  When the book arrived today I couldn't wait to read it to them but I managed to hold off until bed time.  My little girl Sophie was very excited about me reading the book to them that she decided to roar along whilst Liam sat and listened intently.

I settled them down and started to read the story and from the first page I knew they were enjoying it. Every page they were smiling and giggling at hearing about the different monsters and their favourite pants,  Liam even read out some words he already knew and he picked up some new words too.

After reading it twice they kids went to sleep happy and will no doubt be dreaming about Monsters who love underpants.

I loved this book too.  The illustrations are big, bright and capture the fun of the story.  I will certainly be getting the other books from the series.

To find out more about the books in the series head over to the website which can be found here.

You can purchase the book on Amazon priced at £6.99

PRESS RELEASE

Monsters Love Underpants is the seventh collaboration from bestselling and award-winning duo Claire Freedman and Ben Cort.

Previous titles are Aliens Love Underpants and Dinosaurs Love Underpants, Aliens in Underpants Save the World, Aliens Love Panta-Claus, Pirates Love Underpants and Monstersaurus. Combined sales are now at 3 million copies and the books are published in over 20 languages.

Aliens Love Underpants was a winner of the Richard & Judy children’s bookclub. There is a hugely successful stage production of Aliens Love Underpants, which has toured the UK for two years, did a stint in London’s West End over the summer of 2014 and is set to return to the West End in 2015.

There are prowly monsters howling loudly and drooling monsters from the steamy swamp. There are wild, woolly mountain monsters and spiky, spooky monsters from outer space. And they all have one thing in common - they LOVE underpants!

The paperback edition includes a very special QR Code that takes you to a free reading of the book by Mel Giedroyc from the Great British Bake Off!

Praise for Claire Freedman and Ben Cort’s Underpants books:

“Guaranteed to get the little ones giggling.” Daily Mail

“Fun, colourful and dynamic” The Times
