I'm A No-Show

I was due to attend the SAMH What Next event today in Glasgow to discuss Scotland's mental health strategy.  Well that didn't exactly go to plan.

Liam is absolutely loaded with a horrible cold and Sophie was taken to a&e with yet another bout of croup.  This is the 7th time she has had it since she was 6 months old.

If I had went along to the event, James would have had to wake Sophie up, after getting back from hospital at 3am, out into the wind and rain. so I took Liam to school and left Sophie to sleep and James made a lovely, much needed, cup of tea.

I emailed SAMH to explain and asked if they can send me some information or notes from the event.

  1. You hardly had much choice - sounds like you had enough to be dealing with at home. All three of my boys had croup - glad your daughter is a little better now.
