Scars - Rebuild Your Self Esteem.

I have a scar from having my 2 children by C Section.  I am not bothered by having a scar as it reminds me of the most precious time in my life but for some scars cause low self esteem and confidence issues.

Insta Natural can help.  I gave their Advanced Repair Scar Gel a try to see if it could reduce the red appearance of my scar.  Like I have already said I am not bothered by the scar but if I am being honest I would like it to fade some more.

The gel helps soften the feel and colour of the scar which changes the overall appearance of the scar.  The gel contains

Sea Kelp Bioferment, Glycerin, Oleuropein, Tertrahydrocurcuminoids, Aloe Vera Powder Extract, Green Tea EGCG, Apigenin, Gotu Kola, Luteolin, Porphyridium Extract, Fucoxanthin, Astaxanthin, Epidermal Growth Factor (sh-Oligopeptide-1, EGF)

The gel is really easy to use.

  • Wash hands thoroughly
  • apply a thin layer of gel to the area.
  • Use twice a day
  • Continue application until the scar softens in colour to appear flat and white without redness.
  • Amount of time of use will vary depending on age and severity of scar.

The cream itself has very little scent to it which is a good thing as I find most perfumed products irritate skin so I knew this would be fine for my sensitive skin.  The gel soaks in quickly and there is no residue, again this is a massive bonus as I do not like creams that leave sticky residue.

As the scar is in a delicate area I cannot show you but I have noticed a difference so far.  It is not as red looking and has started to fade.  I am going to continue using the gel on my section scar and I will update you with the final result, don't worry I won't take pictures!

I really like the Advanced Repair Scar Gel. I was sceptical at first but the more I use it the more I see a difference.

If you wish to purchase the gel it can be bought here for £22.95 (saving of £27.05)

  4. I think that scars are the map of your life, so I'm not so bothered about erasing mine. But I agree that Insta Natural is a good brand. I have two of their serums and they are great, such a bargain too.

    1. I love my scar but it's the redness that bugs me a little, it's starting to look a natural colour now but still visable which is fine hehe. It is a good product for those who are upset by their scars xx

  6. I'll be interested to see how well it works. Some scars you can hide away but others it's the fact that people keep looking at them that you want them to fade away.
