Our Holiday.

As you know I was incredibly excited about going on holiday it and I did promise to tell you all about when we got back. Well that was the plan but my silly Internet decided to pack in, until today.  So here goes, this was our holiday.

I hardly slept the night before we went I was that excited to get going! Everything was packed, clothes had been set out for that morning so it was a case of up, fed, washed, dressed and out the door for midday.  Strangely that all went to plan.

Thankfully the train was on time.  This is when I assumed I would feel anxious but I honestly was that excited anxiety had no chance of giving me any trouble.  We got to Motherwell where we had a half hour wait.  Before we knew it we were on the Cross Country service and on our way to my favourite place. I didn't need to worry about the kids being bored, they had fun eating sweets and colouring in.

We met up with my parents, who were driving down, checked in and found our caravan which was beautiful and we had a lovely view of the sea.  Within an hour we were off to the beach and to the swing park (next to each other)  I took James and the kids on the clifftop walk as it was so scenic and relaxing too.

Our week was filled with loads, swimming, wrestling, panto, musical singalongs, playing on the beach, exploring the rock pools, walking around town and having fun in the amusements.  If I were to go into everything I would be here all day and this would be a very long post!  On the Monday I turned 35 and as everyone was together on the Sunday I was taken for a surprise lunch at my favourite restaurant, The Cobbled Yard hotel.  It was brilliant and I was spoiled rotten.

We had 2 very upset little bears who did not want to come home at all, well I didn't want to come home either!  The holiday was brilliant and we are hoping to go again next year,  Here are some more pictures from our time away.
