What's Been Happening.

It has been a while since I updated the blog, so I thought I would let you all know what has been happening over the last few weeks.

We all  had the horrible cold that was going around during the October week, of all times, so we had  movie days and snuggles on the sofa with sweets to cheer us up.  Typical isn't it? The kids end up unwell during the school holiday!

I submitted my first TMA (tutor marked assessment) and scored a 70 which I was over the moon with.  Who knew I could actually write at university level. It certainly gave me a massive confidence boost.  The pass mark is 40.

James won chef of the month for October at work, he will be getting a nice hamper for that, looking forward to him bringing that home with him! We are very proud of him as he works really hard and deserves the recognition for his hard work.

Yesterday Sophie had her pre-school booster jags, that was not pretty as she threw one almighty temper tantrum afterwards and refused to talk to me for half an hour.  One day she will thank me when she realises it was for the good of her health.

On Halloween we took a trip through to Falkirk to have lunch with my father in law and to catch up with his family.  That was the day we also met out gorgeous baby nephew Jayden,  He is such a gorgeous, content little guy.  Aunt Angela stole all his cuddles.  That night once we came home we got the kids dressed up and headed over to my mum and dad's for a mini Halloween party for the kids and took them trick or treating.

So as you can see I have been a little busy and my poor blog has been feeling neglected.
