Argan Oil - InstaNatural

My hair was in need of a desperate pick me up after the hairdresser cut it far too short back in April (it has not grown much since). When Insta Natural asked me to give their Argan Oil products a try I jumped at the chance as I have loved their other products so felt sure I would love this too.

I was sent two of their Argan oil products - Argan Oil For Hair Treatment & Elixir & Argan Oil Hair Mask. So here is the breakdown of each.

Argan Oil Elixir

I applied this to my hair to protect it from blow drying, it can also be used as a leave in conditioner or overnight hair treatment.  The oil did not smell too strongly which was quite a surprise.  I didn't need to use a lot either meaning the oil will last much longer than some similar products you can buy.  Once my hair was dry, my hair looked sleek with no frizz (there is a first time for everything!). I really loved this product and use it every few days before drying my hair.

Argan Oil Mask

The first thing I noticed about this mask was the overpowering smell. I was rather shocked at the scent and it was a bit much for me.  I massaged the cream into my damp hair and let it soak in for 10 minutes and let my hair dry naturally. Once my hair was dry I noticed a slight shine to my hair but not much of a difference sadly.

If I am being honest the elixir was my favourite as I had the best results with it. The mask did not work well with my hair but that doesn't mean it won't be suited to someone else. My hair is quite fine so I think that was the issue.

If you would like to buy the elixir you can do so over on Amazon for £19.95 and the hair mask, also on Amazon is priced at £14.95

  15. I love Argan oil for the conditioning and shine it gives my hair, and it smells fab too! But I've found that it fades my colour. I tend to use it on the ends and I can see a noticeable difference in the shade of my colour!
